Valet Parking In San Francisco Could Cost You 130 Dollars

If you were trying to park around AT&T Park in San Francisco prior to game one of the World Series, you probably got ripped off.

This is a sign from a local parking garage in San Fran, and the valet fees ranged from 90 to 130 dollars. Parking near sporting venues can be expensive at the best of times, but this is full blown insanity. Who could possibly justify paying over 100 dollars to park? And how could a parking attendant ask you for 100 dollars with a straight face? If an attendant asked me for 100 dollars to park, I’d probably have to punch them in the face. I’m not a violent man, but that’s a punchable request.

It would make more sense to park in the middle of an intersection, because the parking tickets would be less than 130 bucks.
