Toronto Marlies Goalie Drew MacIntyre Makes Behind The Back Glove Save (VIDEO)
Toronto Marlies goalie Drew MacIntyre has made a save that is incredibly difficult to describe, and it must be seen. Why is it so tough to explain? Because I’ve never seen anything like this in my life.
During Toronto’s recent game with the Rochester Americans, MacInyre was caught out of position on a backdoor feed. Typically, a goalie would stretch out and try to get a pad or blocker across the net to block the empty cage. However, MacIntyre decided on a completely different tact. He swung his glove in behind his back like a contortionist, and he made a miraculous glove save. No one in the building could believe it, and once the fans realized what happened they gave a standing ovation.
Moments like this exemplify why sports are so awesome. No matter how many hockey games you’ve watched, you’ve probably never seen anything like this. Day to day life for most people is quite repetitive and sometimes boring, consider this some spice…
