Tiger Woods And Lindsey Vonn Announce They Are Dating, Ironically They Want Privacy
Tiger Woods and Lindsey Vonn confirmed they are dating today, and then they asked for privacy. That’s right, they made a public announcement that they are dating, and then they asked for privacy. Wouldn’t it have been easier to remain private if they didn’t announce they were dating? This “announcement” is incredibly ironic.
“This season has been great so far and I’m happy with my wins at Torrey and Doral,” Woods said. “Something nice that’s happened off the course was meeting Lindsey Vonn. Lindsey and I have been friends for some time, but over the last few months we have become very close and are now dating.”
Vonn also acknowledged their relationship through social media…

The weirdest part about this announcement is that it’s so contrived. Vonn and Woods hired a PR team, took pictures together, discussed how they wanted to break the news, and they rolled out a series of press releases. Call me old fashioned, but this seems a bit unnatural. However, to be fair, Woods and Vonn lead lives that are anything but natural.
So what’s my biggest take away from this announcement. Tiger Woods still has an insatiable appetite for white women, and Lindsey Vonn likes the spotlight.
