Andy Murray earned his first career major after winning the 2012 U.S Open, With the win, Murray becomes the first British man to win a major since 1936.

In fact, the last time a Brit won a major, 82-year old Sean Connery was just six years old. Suffice to say, Connery has been waiting a long time.

The man formerly known as James Bond was at Flushing Meadows to witness Murray’s victory, and he was very impressed.

Murray defeated defending U.S Open champion Novak Djokovic in five sets, and Connery was front row cheering on his countryman.

I like how Connery has adopted the Jersey Shore first pump. It’s clean, it’s understated, and it’s passionate.
