Rory MacDonald Wants A Re-Match With Carlos Condit

UFC welterweight Rory MacDonald only has one loss on his record, and it was a last second TKO to Carlos Condit. Even though MacDonald has his hands full with B.J Penn on December 8th, he’s looking for a rematch with Condit.

“I respect him (Condit) completely, he’s one of the guys I respect most in the sport,” MacDonald told ESPN. “His outlook and his attitude is great.

“But I feel like I was embarrassed in that fight. I want to prove to myself and the world that I am the better fighter and I want revenge for the embarrassment I felt that night.

“Everyone has their own opinion of the fight, but at the end of the day I lost and was embarrassed. It is what it is. I plan to be the world champ.”

In my opinion, MacDonald was seven seconds away from beating Condit, and I’d love to see a rematch…

Rory MacDonald has really been coming out of his shell of late. He’s challenging people, he’s making bold claims, and he’s winning his fights in impressive fashion.

If MacDonald beats B.J Penn in December, which I think he will, he’s probably one fight away from a possible title shot. MacDonald has already stated he’s not interested in fighting Georges St. Pierre, so he could move up to Middleweight.

In fact, MacDonald has already stated that at some point he’ll be fighting at 185…
