Lebron James tells ESPN’s Rachel Nichols he regrets “The Decision” (Video)
Lebron James has been ripped and regarded as a villain for the way he left his hometown Cleveland Cavaliers to join Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh in Miami. After forcing his hometown fans to watch “The Decision” on national television, he’s become the most hated sports figure in Ohio.
More than a year later, Lebron’s blinders are beginning to come down, and he’s reaching the same conclusions that almost everyone else has. “The Decision” was a bad decision.
Lebron recently sat down with ESPN’s Rachel Nichols and admitted that he didn’t handle his departure from Cleveland very well. Lebron also admitted that his performance in the NBA Finals was sub par. Admitting you have a problem is the first step. Consider this a basketball version of an AA meeting.
It’s nice to see Lebron admit he made a mistake, albeit over a year later, but I doubt Cleveland will have much sympathy. It’s hard to sympathize with a guy chilling on a yacht in South Beach swimming with women in his own condominiums.
