Denver’s Mayor Does Hilarious Ray Lewis Dance (VIDEO)
When a major sporting event is about to take place, it’s not uncommon for the mayors of the cities involved to make a friendly wager. You may remember that in the 2012 NFL playoffs, Denver beat Pittsburgh and the Steel city mayor was forced to wear a Tim Tebow jersey while Tebowing.
This year, the shoe was on the other foot.
This year, the Denver Broncos lost to the Baltimore Ravens in the AFC divisional matchup, and Denver mayor Michael Hancock was forced to do the Ray Lewis dance…and he NAILED IT!
Firstly, Baltimore’s mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake is pretty clever for coming up with this idea. Secondly, Denver’s mayor Hancock has to be applauded for his effort. When someone is forced to eat crow, they have two options. They can either sulk and unwillingly follow through on their commitment, or they can really sell it. In the video below, Hancock goes all out.
Not only is the dancing perfectly on point, but the production value is through the roof! Adding Nellie’s “Hot In Herre” as background music? Amazing…
