Adrian Peterson Got Arresterd But His Mugshot Is Classy (PIC)
Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson was arrested on the weekend for apparently being “very drunk” at a club and then resisting arrest.
Peterson has displayed nothing but character throughout his career so these allegations are coming out of left field. After being arrested, Peterson tweeted this quote from Winston Churchill.
“A lie gets halfway around the world before the truth has a chance to get its pants on.”
According to Daniel Maher, the owner of “Live at Bayou Place” where Peterson was arrested, AP was being belligerent. This according to SportsGrid.com.
“According to Daniel Maher, the owner of Live, Peterson was “a difficult customer all night,” and made a mad-dash attempt at getting one more drink after last call. When he was denied, he allegedly attempted to intimidate the bartender into serving him. That’s when an off-duty officer intervened, and Peterson allegedly shoved him.
Maher says during his confrontation with the officer, Peterson assumed a fight stance and looked “like he meant business.” Maher says, “He looked really scary and I thought he was gonna attack the cops.”
Let’s just say I’m reserving judgment. For all we know the owner of this club hates the Vikings and just wanted to rub egg in the face of their best player.
All I’m saying is this doesn’t look like the face of someone who is belligerently drunk while fighting police.
The last time I saw someone look so good in a mugshot, Deion Sanders was live tweeting about his wife robbing him.
