29-Year Old Virgin Olympian Lolo Jones : “Please, End This Draught”
In a recent interview with Access Hollywood, Olympic hurdler – and 29-year old virgin – Lolo Jones said she’s growing tired of waiting for Mr. Right.
“There are so many people who aren’t willing to wait for their future spouse. They want to have sex now, they want to hook up,” Lolo — who has openly spoken about being a virgin — said. “That’s their life. My life is something else.”
“I’ve complained about this to all my friends,” Lolo told Access. “ ‘When am I going to finally meet the man of my dreams, my husband, and experience, you know?’ Please, end this drought.”
Louis CK already suggested Jones meet up with her male equivalent Tim Tebow, but that went nowhere. Maybe she’s just being too picky.
Either way, the good news for Jones is that she’ll be surrounded by suitors at the Olympics in London. However, the bad news is it might not be her audience. According to Hope Solo, the goalie of team U.S.A, athletes get nasty in the village.
“On the grass, between buildings, people are getting down and dirty,” the 2008 gold medalist told ESPN The Magazine recently.
The Olympic village at the 2010 Vancouver winter Olympics was outfitted with over 100,000 condoms. When you consider that the summer Olympics have way more athletes, there’s probably way more shenanigans as well.
According to MSNBA columnist Mike Celzic, the distribution of condoms goes back to the 1992 Barcelona Olympics.
“The distribution of free condoms at the Olympics goes back at least to 1992 and Barcelona. In 2000, Sydney organizers thought that 70,000 would be enough. They were wrong and had to send out for 20,000 more. Beijing also ordered 100,000 condoms with an Olympic motto: Faster, higher, stronger.”
Everybody’s checking everybody else out from moment they get there,” recalled Cammi Granato, captain of the powerful U.S. Ice Hockey Team that won gold in Nagano in 1998 and silver in 2002 in Salt Lake City.
The ball is in your court Ms. Jones. The draught can end any moment.
